GU Multipoint Door Lock – 2 Small Hook – Product description:
Multipoint door locks are extremely common. Found in PVC, aluminium and timber doors. GU multipoint locks are probably the most common brand of door locks in Ireland.
This GU multipoint door lock features 2 small hooks (mini hooks), 1 deadbolt and 1 latch. The small hooks have a unique shape which some people call “birds beaks”. The unique shape of pins gives compression of the door to the draught seal, as well as the security benefits of a bolt.
The latch can easily be reversed to suit different door handing. On the left side of the lockcase just above the spindle of the lock you will see a small vertical slot approx 5mm x 2mm wide. Push a small flat screwdriver into this slot and at the same time pull out the latch of the lock. The latch should pop out. Simply turn the latch 180 degrees to reverse the direction of the latch, and push back in until you feel the latch click.
This multipoint door lock will work in lever / lever operation only
