Sash Jammer – uPVC Window / Door – Uses
The sash jammer is ideal for use on full height opening windows (eg. the opening section of the window if the full height of the window, like tilt & turn windows) It can be either used as an additional security device or child safety device. Position the sash jammer up near the top of the window (so it’s out of reach of children)
The sash jammer can be used on rebated uPVC, composite and timber doors, again as an additional security device or as a child safety device. This is perfect if you have small children that are able to reach the door handle. Position the sash jammer up near the top of the door, so it’s out of reach of children, but can be easily reached by adults.
The sash jammer can also be used to temporarily keep a window with a broken lock while a replacement lock is obtained.
For fixings a sash jammer to a uPVC window or door we recommend you use 3.9mm x 32mm self drill screws
