Window and Door Parts has made every effort to reproduce colours on the Website as accurately as possible. We are entitled to make adjustments to the Price to take account of any increase in our supplier’s prices, or the imposition of any new taxes or duties, or if due to an error or omission the Price for the Products on the Website is wrong.
We reserve the right to make changes to the price of our Products at any time.
We accept payment by most major credit or debit cards. All credit and charge card holders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. Credit and debit card payments will be processed using Stripe who review orders on behalf of Window and Door Parts to eliminate fraud and safeguard our customers’ transactions. We will not be liable for any delays to your order this may cause. Payments may also be made using Paypal. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery. Orders can only be delivered to Republic of Ireland addresses.
All prices are subject to VAT at 23% and for the avoidance of doubt the prices shown on our Website are the VAT inclusive figure. VAT will be shown on your order at the Checkout section of our website
All prices are subject to delivery charges and for the avoidance of doubt the prices shown on our Website are exclusive of delivery charges. Our delivery charges are €7 inc VAT at 23% on all orders below €50.00. This delivery charge will be added to your order at the Checkout section of our website. Free delivery applies to all orders over €50.00 made in a single transaction.
Payment will be debited from your account before the dispatch of your purchase.
Acceptance of orders
Working with industry-leading secure payment processors, we validate your order and credit or debit card details you submit to us before your order can be accepted. Once that has been done, we will acknowledge that your order has been received by sending an e-mail to the e-mail address you provide in your registration form.
Your order is then subject to further validation checks we may choose to make. If your order passes our validation checks we will send you an order confirmation email, this is our acceptance of your order and it brings into existence a legally binding agreement between you and Window and Door Parts for the purchase of the products (the “Order Acceptance Email”).
Window and Door Parts reserves the right to restrict the number of items available for sale to any individual customer. All orders are subject to availability. If your order cannot be fulfilled we will cancel the items we cannot supply and supply the others. We will charge you for what we supply.
We require your signature for proof of delivery, if you are not at home at the time of delivery, the courier will make arrangements with you to leave the package with a neighbour or in a safe location.
The courier requires a daytime telephone number for all deliveries
All parcels must be checked for damage before a signature is given. By signing the courier’s docket (the “Sales Docket”), either by hand or electronically using the courier’s handheld device, you are confirming that you are satisfied with the condition and identity of the products received. If you believe the products received are damaged or not as described, the products should be refused and the Sales Docket should be clearly endorsed to signify the same
Packages will normally be delivered in 1-2 working days (ie. Monday – Friday, excluding bank holidays). We, or the courier, are not responsible for any costs, claims, expenses or losses incurred as a result of any late deliveries.
How products may be packed
If your order contains more than one product, Window and Door Parts will endeavour to pack the items in as few parcels as reasonably possible. The number of parcels will depend on a variety of factors including the size, shape and weight of the relevant products. Packing items in more than one parcel may result in a delay in your order being ready for collection.
Cancellation / Returns / Refunds
When you purchase online, you have a statutory right to return a Product (other than a Non-Cancellable Product (defined below)) up to 14 days after the date that you acquire, or a third party authorised by you acquires, physical possession of the Products (the “Cooling Off Period”). During the Cooling Off Period, you can cancel your order Product (other than a Non-Cancellable Product) without giving a reason and without incurring charges or penalties, other than the charges incurred in returning the goods.
In accordance with the European Directive on consumer rights (Directive 2011/83/EU) we will not accept returns on any products which fall under the following descriptions:
- non-prefabricated products made on the basis of an individual choice of, or decision by, the consumer;
- products that are clearly personalised; and
- sealed products that are not suitable for return for health protection and hygiene reasons, and were unsealed after delivery (eg. silicone).
(together hereinafter referred to as a “Non-Cancellable Product” or Non-Cancellable Products”)
Orders made for Non-Cancellable Products made not be amended after the Order Acceptance Email has issued and such orders do not benefit from the Cooling Off Period and will not be refunded unless they are damaged or faulty and any damage has been be specified on the Sales Docket and the parcel refused.
To exercise the right to cancel, you must inform us of your decision to cancel this contract by an unequivocal statement (e.g. a letter sent by post to Sales Returns, Patrick Cuddihy, 11 Altamount Park, Dublin Road, Kilkenny or by e-mail to info(at)windowanddoorparts.ie. If you use this option, we will communicate to you an acknowledgement of receipt of such a cancellation on a durable medium (e.g. by e-mail) without delay. You can also log-on to your account on the Website and click the “Cancel” button. If you use this option, we will communicate to you an acknowledgement of receipt of such a cancellation on a durable medium (e.g. by e-mail) without delay.
To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right to cancel before the Cooling Off Period has expired. In all circumstances you will be responsible for the safe delivery of the Products to us. Evidence of postage should be retained by you.
We can change or cancel an order for Products (other than a Non-Cancellable Product) up until it is dispatched. If the order has been dispatched and you return the Product to us within the Cooling Off Period (other than in respect of a Non-Cancellable Product), we will organise a refund.
If you cancel a contract for Products (excluding Non-Cancellable Products) within the Cooling Off Period, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us) without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement other than the cost of the return postage. We will withhold reimbursement until we have received the Products back or you have supplied satisfactory evidence of having sent back the Products, whichever is the earliest.
You shall send back the Products without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your cancellation of the contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired. If as a result of the nature of the Products you are not in a position to arrange for their return to us, we will provide you with an estimate for the collection of the Products PROVIDED ALWAYS you shall not be under any obligation to use our services in this respect and you shall this be required to return the Products to us not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your cancellation of the contract to us.
Shipping costs will only be refunded if the return is a result of an error on our part (eg faulty part or wrong item shipped)
In all instances, return postage will be at the customer’s own expense.
If a Product is damaged or faulty and the order has been signed for upon delivery, any damage must be specified on the Sales Docket and the parcel must be refused. In these circumstances, please contact us and we will organise a replacement or refund.
Please note that you are liable for any diminished value of the Product resulting from the handling of the Product in any way other than what is strictly necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the Product while you are responsible for it (this includes, in the context of a return, when the Product is in transit back to Window and Door Parts.
Goods “not wanted” or “incorrectly ordered” will only be accepted back at the company’s discretion, in new & resalable condition, and within a maximum period of 30 days from invoice date. This excludes ‘Specials’ or ‘Customised’ orders. A handling charge of 20% of the invoice value will be levied against the goods.
Liability / Indemnity
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable laws, we disclaim responsibility for any harm, injury or damage to you / other persons / your property / or other people’s property arising from the use or installation of any of our products or your use of the Website PROVIDED HOWEVER that this exclusion of liability shall not apply to any damages arising from death or personal injury caused by the negligence of Window and Door Parts, or any of their employees or agents. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Irish Law.
A buyer of Products from the Website shall indemnify Window and Door Parts against all claims, losses, costs and expenses made against or suffered by Window and Door Parts arising from or incurred by reason of any loss injury of damage suffered by a third party and arising out of the buyer’s use of the Products.
Title of Products
The title of all Products will remain with us until all Products are paid in full. Products will not be dispatched by Window and Door Parts until they are paid for in full.
These Terms and Conditions and any documents expressly referred to in them constitute the entire agreement between us and supersedes and extinguishes all previous drafts, agreements, arrangements and understandings between us, whether written or oral, relating to its subject matter. Each of us agrees that neither we nor you shall have any remedies in respect of any representation or warranty (whether made innocently or negligently) that is not set out in these Terms and Conditions or any documents expressly referred to in them. Neither of us shall have any claim for innocent or negligent misrepresentation based upon any statement in these Terms and Conditions and any documents expressly referred to in them.
Where we are prevented from or delayed in carrying out obligations under these Terms and Conditions due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control including, without limitation, acts of God, governmental actions, war or national emergency, riot, civil commotion, fire, explosion, flood, inclement weather, epidemic, lock-outs, strikes or other labour disputes (whether or not relating to our own workforce), or restraints or delays affecting carriers or an inability or delay in obtaining supplies of adequate or suitable materials then our performance of our obligations shall be postponed for the period of time that the circumstances continue.
The warranty on all Products is 1 year (from the date of delivery) unless otherwise stated.
The warranty on all Products is with Window and Door Parts and not with the manufacturer of the Product
Manuals / Safety Instructions
If any manuals or safety instructions are provided with the Products, you agree to read and follow carefully all the terms contained therein at all times. Any information contained on the Website or social media is not meant to be comprehensive and if you are inexperienced in using the Products or are unsure of your abilities, you should always seek expert advice and assistance.
It is the responsibility of you, the user of the Products, to ensure that all parts are of correct application before fitting.
All parts must always be installed by a person qualified to fit them, any attempt to fit parts where this is not the case will void the warranty, please also note that all dimensions supplied must be carefully noted by you, while we will always endeavour to help where we can, we cannot always guarantee that a specific part will fit a specific application.
Health & Safety
In purchasing Products from the Website, you are acknowledging your awareness and agreement to all of these Terms and Conditions, including the following non-exhaustive Health and Safety guidelines:
- Hinges on side hung bedroom windows should be replaced with 90 degree / egress hinges to facilitate emergency escape in the event of a fire.
- Window handles on bedroom windows must never be locked with a key to facilitate emergency escape in the event of a fire.
- Child Safety Restrictors sold by Window and Door Parts are all releasable to comply with fire safety regulations. Window handles should not be locked in lieu of child safety restrictors.
- All Irish properties must comply (where applicable) with the Building Regulations 1997-2014 (including all amendments and additions thereto) (the “Building Regulations”). The Building Regulations set out minimum background ventilation requirements and guidance as their applicability can be found in Document F of the Technical Guidance Documents issued by the Department of the Environment, Community and Local Government (“Document F”). A link to Document F can be accessed here (link here). It is very important you implement all of the requirements set out in Document F in using any of our products.
- The Building Regulations set out minimum requirements to be complied with in respect of fire safety. Guidance as to the applicability of the Building can be found in Technical Document B of the Technical Guidance Documents issued by the Department of the Environment, Community and Local Government (“Document B”) A link to Document B can be accessed here (link here). It is very important that you implement all of the requirements set out in Document B in using any of our products. We draw your attention in particular to your obligations in replacing / fitting / repairing windows to comply with Clause 1.5.6 of Section B1 of Document B “Means of Escape in case of Fire”.

You must be registered with the Website and logged in when placing your order, to receive this promotion. Promotional codes can be used once only per customer as defined by their email address and/or credit card address and/or delivery address.
Only one promotional code can be used per transaction.
Offer cannot be used in conjunction with other offers from Window and Door Parts.
Promotional codes offering a discount when you spend a certain amount can only apply to a single transaction and exclude delivery charges.
